Well, Jerry Seinfeld has fed the flames of the rumor mill by admitting that when Twitter blew up with pictures of him, Jason Alexander (George Costanza) and Larry David (co-creator) filming something in the iconic Tom’s Restaurant. Rumors feeding this idea were pushed even further when Alexander was sporting the familiar grubby clothing his character had sported for nine seasons.
My guess is that it’s more than likely a Super Bowl ad, but I could be wrong.
I also think a reunion at this point is moot. We got what I think was the perfect reunion when it made the story arch of David’s seventh season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” That was, I think, the only way it made sense for bringing these characters back. And it even addressed the lackluster series finale.
But I guess we will have to wait and see.
