With the build up to the seventh installment of the “Star Wars” franchise, there was bound to be some pretty cool things in terms of promotions. One of those is this interactive video, which allows users to have a 3D look at the new desert world of Jakku (the planet with the downed Star Destroyer from the trailer). The video appears on the official “Star Wars” Facebook page.
While you are not driving the speeder along the desert ruins full of fallen space ships and debris, you can control your point of view with your mouse. While it doesn’t give much away in terms of spoilers, it is a pretty fun and cool video to mess around with.
“Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” will be released Dec. 18 of this year.
