When we look back on the year 2008, I think we can all agree the most shocking, culture shaking phenomenon was when the Purple One (otherwise known as Prince) performed a live cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” at Coachella, and until recently made it damn near impossible to upload it onto YouTube, citing copyright infringement, denying most of us from ever hearing it.
Oh, and that Obama guy was elected too.
Well, apparently Radiohead front man Thom Yorke was a little surprised by this, since it is his band’s song and holds the song’s copyright. “Really? He’s blocked it? Well, tell him to unblock it. It’s our … song,” is the Yorke comment posted to the user’s YouTube page for the video. Apparently that worked, because the cover is now available to hear.
It is eight-minutes long, and is not the best sounding quality, but makes for an interesting listen regardless.

On Monday, Prince tweeted out a link to the video which is odd because he spent so many years denying us from hearing it. But Prince is kind of a weird guy who once allegedly played basketball with — and made pancakes for — Eddie Muprhy’s brother, Charlie. So, this is not the strangest thing he has ever done.
