When I set out to make this list, it took me by surprise that David Bowie had 1. so many great albums and 2. so many great songs. So I set about making a playlist of not only my favorite Bowie songs, but also a list that would make for a nice introduction to the man’s music for those who haven’t tread those waters yet. I also think it also works as a nice list for Bowie fans in general.
I tried to get something from each era of the man’s music, and I think I did a decent job of that. From his glam rock era to his Berlin Trilogy to his pop era to his drum and bass work and his final, great album that once again took his music to a new and amazing direction.
