There are positives and negatives in having a roommate. The positives include rent being cut in half, as well as the bills. The cons include just about everything else in living with another human being. Sometimes we are a little shy when it comes to confronting a roommate who may have eaten all the peanut butter and thought you wouldn’t notice. Sometimes, when these issues are not dealt with, the whole experience slowly morphs into a bitter war of passive aggressive comments and behavior that may probably last until the lease is up.
Thankfully, Stephen Colbert asked his former “Daily Show” correspondent Lewis Black — a man known for his blunt views on all things in life, including candy corn that received a rebuttal from fellow comedian Michael Ian Black — to respond to tweets about bad roommates. And it was incredible.
